About the project
Connected Corporate and Automated Mobility – Employment Realization through the Acquisition of Skills (CCAM-ERAS) aims to build towards the future and address the transition to CCAM from a socio-economic perspective. The project will develop the necessary knowledge and prepare for the possibilities that will potentially arise from the deployment of CCAM, and will aim to increase knowledge regarding the necessary skills required.
CCAM-ERAS envisions a future with a more attractive and inclusive labour market by providing solutions to ensure the availability and upscaling of CCAM-specific skills across sectors.
The project will foster cooperation between industries such as transport, technology, and education to mitigate job losses and relocations from CCAM deployment, whilst boosting innovation.
Through real-world use cases, CCAM-ERAS will develop solutions to labour market challenges, identify key innovators, and provide the building blocks for a smooth transition to CCAM in the short, medium, and long term.
What is the CCAM-ERAS Stakeholder Community?
The CCAM-ERAS Stakeholder Community are vital to the success of this project. The Stakeholder Community will be engaged throughout the project in various activities that focus on skills and employment in CCAM.
By participating in various focus groups, workshops, interviews, and surveys, stakeholders will give aid the project in sharing insights for activities that include (but are not limited to):
The identification of skills shortages and skills forecasting
Designing of educational and labour market schemes
Analysis of the societal impact of CCAM – specifically the impact on employment
Recommendations for training programmes and policies that will align worker capabilities with industry needs
Addressing skills mismatches in the current labour market
The consortium will keep the Stakeholder Community informed about relevant news or innovations during the project.
